@tillathenun It's not an uncommon thing for saloon cars not to have a rear wiper - my Saab doesn't, and it's never been a problem. But maybe the angle of the IONIQ's rear screen is that much more upright, so the wind flow down it is less (despite what they say about the aerodynamics...)
